Ghana marked its 68th Independence Day on March 6, 2025, under the theme “Reflect, Review, and Reset.”

As part of the national celebrations, Twellium proudly supported the MP’s Independence Day Essay Competition, an initiative organized by Hon. Simon Akibange Aworigo, Member of Parliament for the Navrongo Central Constituency.

The event, held at Kologo Park in the Kassena-Nankana District, emphasized education and youth empowerment.

The competition aimed to foster creativity, critical thinking, and awareness of pressing social issues among Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS) students.

Twellium’s support reinforces its dedication to the SDGs to support academic excellence and community development.

Hon. Simon Akibange Aworigo (MP, Navrongo Central) applauded the winners and their schools, pledging to make the competition an annual initiative.

“The independence of Ghana is meaningless unless it is linked up with the total liberation of the African continent,” he stated.
