Twellium has been honoured with the prestigious Millennium Excellence Award for Manufacturing Excellence by His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, in recognition of our outstanding contributions to Ghana’s manufacturing sector, particularly in water and beverage production.
The award was presented during the 2025 Millennium Excellence Awards ceremony, celebrating innovation, impact, and national development.
Representing Twellium at the event were Mr. Ali Hamdan, General Manager of the Kumasi Plant, and Mr. Patrick Yeboah, Trade Marketing Manager, who jointly received the award on behalf of the company.
In his acceptance remarks, Mr. Hamdan expressed gratitude to the Asantehene, stating, “This honour is a great motivation for us to continue striving for excellence and delivering quality products to the people of Ghana and beyond.”
The Asantehene praised Twellium for its transformative role in Ghana’s economy.
“We are proud to celebrate the major expansion of your state-of-the-art production facilities and your dynamic product portfolio, which have brought significant economic benefits to Ghana. The extension of your production lines to Kumasi has made your products more accessible, demonstrating your commitment to national growth and customer satisfaction.”
He added that, “this award is a testament to our collective appreciation. Positive impact is like a glowing lamp in the depths of darkness; it serves its immediate surroundings while offering hope and direction to many across the horizon.”
The award underscores Twellium’s role as a trailblazer in the manufacturing industry and affirms its position as a true pride of Ghanaian industry.
The Millennium Excellence Awards, held under the auspices of His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, celebrate outstanding individuals whose work has contributed significantly to national development and global progress across various fields, including science, governance, academia, humanitarian service and innovation.
