The 2026 edition of #GreenWithTwellium has recorded the planting of more than 1,500 seedlings by employees and students of Adjen Kotoku Presbyterian Basic School.

This is an increase from the 2025 edition, during which 800 seedlings were planted. The annual initiative is aimed at promoting afforestation and encouraging environmental stewardship among employees and members of the communities in which the company operates.

As part of the programme, the company also donated farm and gardening tools, as well as protective tree cages, to Adjen Kotoku Presbyterian Basic School to support the maintenance and growth of the newly planted seedlings.

Speaking on behalf of the General Manager, Mohammad Kawtharani, the Communications Manager, Daniel Abugre Anyorigya, said:

“Based on the lessons we learned from last year’s exercise, particularly the challenges of seedling stress and the requests for more fruit tree seedlings, we committed ourselves to addressing these concerns. This initiative reflects our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the African Union’s Agenda 2063 by promoting greener communities, advancing climate action, and contributing to a more sustainable future.”

To further extend the impact of the initiative, employees were also given both shade and fruit tree seedlings to plant in their homes and at places of worship, reinforcing the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability beyond the workplace.
