Twellium has donated assorted items to survivors of domestic violence under the care of the Ark Foundation.
This initiative is part of its efforts to #ShareLove by providing resources, as well as spreading a message of hope and empowerment to those who have endured one of society’s most challenging issues on Valentine’s Day/Chocolate Day.
It also aligns with Twellium’s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Agenda 2063 through its “Building the Ghana We Want” agenda.
The donation, made by the management of Twellium, included much-needed supplies aimed at easing the burden of care on the foundation while providing nourishment and comfort to survivors.
This act of generosity reinforces Twellium’s dedication to fostering a culture of care in the communities it serves, while sustainably addressing food and beverage needs.
The Ark Foundation, a Ghanaian organization dedicated to providing shelter, support, and rehabilitation for survivors of domestic violence, welcomed Twellium’s contribution as a beacon of encouragement for the women and children under their care.
The Communication, Media and Strategic Partnerships Unit of The Ark Foundation, Awurabena Jones stated that “The Ark Foundation is the only organization with a functional shelter in Ghana, hence there is immense pressure to meet the nutritional and financial needs of the women, girls, and children in our care.”
Twellium’s philanthropic efforts on February 14th—recognized in Ghana as Valentine’s Day and Chocolate Day—align with SDG 5: Gender Equality, which advocates for ending all forms of violence against women and girls, as well as SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being. ❤️
Hence by supporting survivors of domestic violence, Twellium is not only offering a helping hand in times of distress but also actively contributing to the broader global goals of building healthier, more just communities.
Through partnerships with organizations like the Ark Foundation, Twellium is ensuring that vulnerable populations are not forgotten and that their voices are heard.
